World Central Kitchen Documentary

With $9.7K in rental aid disbursed, we're taking on a new project: fundraising for a vendor food ordering system! You'll pick from the menu, vendors will make food safely at home, and volunteers will deliver finished orders to pickup sites. All money raised from our yard sale will go to startup costs for the website and ingredients/packaging for our first batch of vendors. Come out, say hey, and help build sustainable ways to keep our neighbors housed! ♥️

With a renewed wave of militarized ICE operations in Los Angeles, our communities continue to face federal immigration raids and terror. Thousands of loved ones have been deported. Thousands more remain detained in inhumane conditions. We must lead the next phase of resistance with 24 hours of collective community action by participating in a PARO COMUNITARIO “COMMUNITY STOPPAGE”.

Major corporations like Home Depot are complicit, staying silent while ICE abducts workers in their parking lots. Like Home Depot, companies including Penske, Target, Walmart, Stater Brothers, and McDonald’s are prioritizing profit over people.

A free community Ice Cream Social for everyone. . . except ICE agents!

Every day, ICE agents and Border Patrol use Terminal Island as a gathering place to coordinate (aka "stage") their plans for the day. They meet right here in our beautiful port town and then head out into Los Angeles and surrounding cities to terrorize and kidnap community members. Come on out to beat the heat with ice cream and shave ice. Free for all.  (Except if you work for ICE).
